SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Lady

My first serious realism study. Done with charcoal, which I have come to adore. Not based on anyone in particular, but I think I'm going to form a character in my novel-in-progress, Final Reality, on her. I know there's a lot wrong with it, and the scan is absolutely horrid, but it was fun. I'll hate it in a couple weeks, though, I'm sure...

28 Jul 2000	Katja Alakotila	Loading... Her chin and lips and neck are vvvvverrrry good, but you could work a bit more with her eyes. They seem slightly... hmm... flat. And some gloss on her hair wouldn't hurt either. But all in all this is a great picture.
