One can clearly see the emotions... It is a shame this never saw any retouching the result would surely be fascinating...

With his smirk and the asymmetrical positioning of his eyebrows there is another way to interpret his facial expression. He could be trying to cheer her up, OR he could be thinking "Yes, she relies on her big, strong protector-man."
That's a line from a skit I saw years ago, but that picture just reminded me of it. Maybe, I'm just weird like that--in addition to the confirmed ways that I'm weird, of course. | |
