SciFi and Fantasy Art: Syren

Here's my take on a not so little mermaid. This was done at the suggestion of one of my friends. It only took me about twelve hours to finish, but came out ok. 14 x 18 inches oil on canvas.

See, if she'd really looked like that--and went around shirt-less, even when she had legs, she defintly would have snagged that prince. LIke Ursula said in the Disney version..you gotta 'utilise your assets', lol.
