Well, I'm done with college and floundering in the IT field - I was a computer science major at Florida Tech. I've always have had a love of magic and epic stories. Dragonlance is my favorite fiction, but I'm also a big fan of Final Fantasy (and RPG videogames in general) and Mage : The Ascencion. A lot of my art in the gallery is also inspired by various sit-down RPG's I've played in over the years. Although I'm not a very talented artist with respect to the hand, I do believe I am one with respect to the mind. I'm a big opponent of normalicy, the status quo, the mundane, steriotypes, and the defined. I believe the exception is too often ignored, the rule too often cramed down everyones throat. I don't know how much of that comes throught in my art, but it's important to me. And, somtimes, I draw just for fun, becuase I'm bored of normal life, of because I want to see a visual of something I've read, written, heard about, or imagined. As far as art technique, everyone should have their own style. To say there is a wrong or right way to art is a paradox. I do appreciate criticism to my stuff, but more on an artistic level ('it would increase the emotion of the piece if you used a purple background with no moon') than on a technical level ('The legs are dispropotional to the feet, and the shading is all wrong for that light source!). Maybe that's why I'm still an amature, but I still this this is what's improtant in art. That said, hope you enjoy my pieces!

Hey there Chris, glad you could find me as the woods are growing thicker everyday. You have a great quality in setting mood with your choice of colors. As far as figures, I love the ladies, as if you couldn't tell...giggling..., so I draw what I love and I put my heart into it. That is my approach to getting myself to be precise and getting a good outcome. It is easy for me to sketch since I am, an art teacher, but try just sketching some figures in awkward positions to losen up the tight poses...that is my suggestion...keep me posted..scampers off...
Impressive works, Chris! Your ability with computer generated art, and combining them what appears to be other mediums. You really have a great touch. I congratulate you, and I welcome you to Elfwood...
Hey Chris, thanks for stopping by my little corner of the woods. Glad to see a fellow 3d artist! You should really have a lot more comments up here. Your stuff is wonderful, especially the photo manipulations. Everything's good, like you said, with your own style. Don't let anyone tell you anything is wrong in your art, because if you like it, that's all that matters, right?

Ah-hah! And you say no one you know visits your gallery. Very nicely done CG, but I didn't expect non-CG stuff... talented, yes. Keep on with the CG; ever try doing a CG self-portrait?
how about an young half elven woman coming out of robot armour? (like Appleseed by Masamune Shirow?) How about a half-elven police officer driving a patrol car?
