SciFi and Fantasy Art: Thalia

Yet another aquatic woman. This one is a character of mine from a Dark Ages VtM game. She's essentially an aquatic Gangrel (animalistic type of vampire). I initially did a basic sketch, followed by inking, and shading with various shades of blue pencils. She lost so much when I scanned her in, so I decided to invert her, and use a filter or two, and this is what I came up with.

I like the way she turned out! The effects used gives her a very mystical feel.

I tried so many different things to fix what the scanner did to this picture, and I am glad that I was able to come up with this effect. Glad you like it!

Whoa, this is stunning. Great effects. She looks fiery more than aquatic, though. But still, awesome job. *peace*
