SciFi and Fantasy Art: Half Elf

Here's a picture of a Half-elf. This was one of the earlier drawings in which I specifically set out with the basic idea behind the 'Traveller' drawing in this gallery.

I think her head should be bigger, since we see her from above. Otherwise it's very good, IMHO.

She's cute. And what, by definition, is the difference between a half and a full elf?

Thanks for the comments in my gallery. I really like your drawings! You draw bodies perfectly and the perspective in this picture is great!

Interesting perspective, great drapery on the costume.

Nice clothes. You have designed them well. Umm, are you planning to draw some background?

I reallly like the perspective you used on it. Nice costume design. Good coloring as well. Her fingers seem a little long on her left hand. Very nice though.

Ain't the breasts a bit far down?

To Damon "Belgurdo" Lawrence, a half elf has one elven parent and one human parent, like Elrond in Lord of the Rings.

I find it really difficult to draw folds in cloth, so I really (and I mean really) appreciate the effort that must have gone into this. The pose it brilliant and... well I guess I just like the whole thing. 2

This is one of the coolest pieces I've seen yet on elfwood. Great job!! And, sorry if this goes off topic, but I was wondering how you add color to drawings. I've tried it and ended up with a smudged catastrophe. Could you explain the process? I just don't get it. And also, when working with colored pencils, what color is best for flesh. I like your style a lot, there is something in it that makes your pictures look real. I think it is the care you have about details. And this picture is a perfect example of that. She is almost alive. great work.and don't forget, it's all about details 12
