The details on the whole thing looks good, but your proportions could use some work. His neck's too thick and long, his shoulder's a bit small, and his arms are a bit too short.

.....and this is my fav of the B&W...very nice. I have no idea what or who this character is, but your drawing makes me want to figure it out. I think your brother is wrong about him, too. On the whole he looks very even. 2

::grin:: OHHH..Very "Louis" in Interview with the Vampire...I know that's not what you were going for, but that's what it made me think of immediately upon seeing it. VERY nice19)

nice work, but did you forget? the buttons went up the side as to not break the dragon on the front of the coat. but other than that, very nice work.

Hmm... No one has Written a comment on this one for a year or so... Anyhoo, the first impression I got here was "she has one boob" is it supposed to be a dude or a single-titted duddette?

It looks sort of meek for a soldier.......................................GET UP, SOLDIER, THERE'S FIGHTIN' TO BE DONE! DONT JUST SIT THERE! IF YOU ARE A WARRIOR, SHOW IT! EITHER SHOW IT OR MAKE WAY FOR THE TRUE VETERANS!

you say he could tear me apart? more likely he would die before he reached me, as i would put an arrow through his eye.
Even if he did reach me, he would die instantly. He has one weapon, and it's a short sword. I would block with one blade (either my dirk or my longsword) and slice his gut open with the other.

.... even more of your companions, making you grieve even more. To grieve is to die. To die is to be grieved for. Grieve not for the fallen until you have won, at that time, grieve in a stately and dignified and utterly respectful manner. anyone who has spent time on the battlefield knows these simple truths. He is also well groomed. That is simply wrong. There is no time to groom oneself when ones homeland is being reduced to ashes by a hoard of gibbering orcs and such. This picture is simply horrible and mocks true veterans. He seems to be on watch, seeing as how he's alone, yet he is not watching, he is staring into space. What an idiot. He will be among the first to die. I shall not mourn his death.

you obviously have no idea what a soldier looks like. This guy looks like some newly-recruited pansy who just went through basic training and hasn't ever swung a blade at an actual person or killed anyone in his whole life. Any warrior who has experience wouldn't be sitting around by a yin-yang moon staring dreamily into space. He would be fighting. He would be slaying. Of course, you'll say that you wanted to show his compassionate side, but you must realize that in the middle of a war, being compassionate to anyone can get you killed. He looks like he's grieving. Soldiers do not grieve. It is a waste of time. Time spent grieving is time wasted. Time in which the enemy kills.....
