SciFi and Fantasy Art: Subaru

This picture is a remake of a picture I did when I was in highschool which featured an anthropomorphic Thylacine (sp?) blowing autumn leaves and flowers out of his paws. However as my mythos comic thing came to fruitation, I found that the character who embodied the Eastern Phoenix would be more appropriate. His name meaning the Pleiades in Japanese. . which have a vernal association a la Milton Paradise Lost and an autumnal association according to the big Chinese/Japanese star constellation system.
