SciFi and Fantasy Art: Anguish

Cedrick has just left Nala's room. He was giving Nala a well needed massage, but as he worked the painful knots from her back and she started making noises of pleasure instead of pain, he became aroused. He noticed that Nala noticed it, and more or less fled the room in shame of almost loosing control over himself. He leans toward the door. Frustrated and anguished. He thinks Nala was dissapointed in him for almost loosing control and taking advantage of her. Nala jumps of the bed and runs to the door the moment he closes the door. She could have sworn he was aroused! But she thinks she must have been wrong. She is thinking that he left the revulsion over her body. And she is crying about her disabillity to attract a man. I think I managed to capture the mood pretty well. There should be a corridor behind Cedrick, but I didn't know how to draw it from that angle. Any suggestions?

Hey! an idea for the corridor - to make it look like he is standing in the corridor, make very very tiny blocks of stone at the end wall *far far away* and make it so that you can see the roof and floor *where you think they should come in* and the wall on the side that the guy isnt standing. once you have done that put a few torches in brackets along the wall & cast the shadows then try and make some doors *you'll need an eraser* good luck! Remember things get smaller as they get father away 2

Urm, you might want to think about tweeking the candles and the base of the mirror too, they are a bit wonkey! 2

This is a really nice piece, and I agree, it does need a corridor behind the young man (sorry I can't remember his name!) Just do a vanishing point somewhere about the height of his knee or lower and do the walls and floor to that. Arched ceilings are always good for perspective work, and help give it that slightly more Gothic/medieval feel (if thats what you're aiming for..)

I particularly like the details you've added, like the mirror and on the young mans clothes. Really well done, and a very interesting piece!

Well, for the corridore, make a small square in the middle with a door in the middle of it. Simplest thing i can think of. Great picture.
