SciFi and Fantasy Art: Drow Portrait

This picture I originally called Bad *ss Elf. I wanted to make a portrait of a drow warrior and keep the shadowing simple. I love the drow elves. They're so challenging to draw! The contrast between black skin and white hair.

You love elves this is true, but i think you love specially the dark elves 2

7 Helena Zeegers replies: "Actually, in general, I prefer humans to elves. However elves require (for me atleast) a different technique while drawing the face. That was what has made me draw alot of elves lately. Especially dark elves, or rather, drow elves. They're even more challenging because of their skin/hair colours. Considering them being black. It's a difficult skin colour to draw. ...I think so anyway."
