SciFi and Fantasy Art: ...can never go back... *yaoi*

The blackhaired centaur has been polymorphed from a human by an unknown wizard. He has just found out that it's an permanent spell so that he can never go back to his own shape again. Another centaur is comforting him. Now, there's two ways to see this picture. depending on what the yellow centaur says to the mourning black one...
One, the innocent way:
'There, there. Everythings going to be allright! I'll help you find another wizard... maybe there's some way to turn you back to human again...'
Or, the not so innocent way:
*evil grin* 'There, there. Being a centaur isn't all that bad, handsome. I'll take care of you. Trust me! I'll make you feel better. No! You'll like it, it's supposed to be this way. I promise.'

My wicked mind will choose the latter option.

A gorgeous suggestive effect from your line work, and this emotional overlay would have been lost with a more "finished" look. I've never seen such a pose, an embrace of two centaurs each standing on two legs, and it's compelling. The shading also works beautifully to convey the musculature. Comfort, indeed!

Words cannot quite express my disgust with the moralizing by various parties above. Love is rare enough in this world of travail that any expression of it deserves our support, including (perhaps especially!) in art. Besides, no one can say they had no warning ... if you don't know what "yaoi" means, and have spent more than a few hours at Elfwood, something is wrong. Better to not comment, methinks, than to indulge in this kind of sniping.

Funny how the homophobic commenters are always Anonymous.

I love the pic! I play a centaur in RPG, married to an elf... we are still figuring out how that is supposed to work out physically. LOL!

Ignore the trolls.

I'd go for somewhere in between: "There, there. You'll get used to it eventually. Everything's going to be all right."
