SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Lady

I ached in every fibre of my body. I was cold and wet. And my mouth tasted of mud, foul water and blood. When I tried to move a dozen of wounds gave me a painful reminder of their existence, and a wave of dizziness and nausea washed over me. I groaned. Without question – I should be dead. I was not dead. Yet. But by the feel of my body I was dying. Memory flooded into my brain and I once again remembered what happened. I had to get help or I wouldn’t survive. By now I was too exhausted, weak and hurt too much to panic. I knew there was no hope. I opened my eyes and squinted into the –Oh! Too bright! –light of the over-cast day. It made my vision swim. A really haunting picture... the monochromatic use of colour makes it seem cold, and the position of the horse, slightly slanting, is really interesting. I think there might be a couple of minor anatomical issues with the horse itself, but I'm no expert. Very inspirational art.

Pic is great.. but after reading the description... I think you need some couch time. What is wrong with being normal? So many artist here have to show their angst at the world??? Grow up and get real!
