Cort, this drawing is absolutely beautiful.. the hint of wings that are so excellently drawn that it is hard to tell if they are real, or simply something that a man wandering through darkness has put upon the first human he sees, dubbing her his angelic even if she is his condemnation and destruction. The abstract background adds to the illusion that this is all simply a desert mirage seen by a man in his last moments of consciousness. Cortney Owens replies: "Yeah! That's what I meant the entire time. ...Really.."

5 Jan 2003	Alana Westwood	Loading... I love this picture! So elegantly done. Great contrasts between the subject and background. I think it's neat that the girl is still standing upright while the tree behind her being blown over. Subtle, but great.
