SciFi and Fantasy Art: Elf boy

I meant for this boy to be an elf, his ears are hidden beneath his hair. *nods*

The sandals/shoes are nice (maybe he's a homeless elf, who has to take the throwaways of others, so he only has one sandal and a shoe?)...And the expression's great. It's a good pose, too, but yeah, I'd say he needs a bit more muscle definition in the arms and chest. I'm not sure how the leg on the right works if he's leaning over to the right, but...You know, this is a good concept pic, don't give up on it! Yeah, there are things wrong with it...I have been out of touch with drawing human forms...I should go back to drawing from pictures. I thought to challenge myself. There are many more things that could be pointed out, but I won't, I will just do better next time2 thatnk you for your criticism, it's appreciated2

He looks young. 8ish. If that was what you were going for, good job! If not...hey. Its all in the interpretation. You're right, Clayton, he's supposed to be about that age2 Thanks2

I like his expression here 2 And those sandals look like ancient Roman or Saxon ones I've seen pictures of.Thanks2 well, I just made them up, and I don't think they even match. :/ But that's cool they remind you of something of actuality! 2

I love him! Poo on anatome, you've captured his youth and all perfectly! He kinda looks like he's summing the veiwer up and finding them lacking, or something. I love his facial expression! Hehehe2 Thanks! Yeah....He does, doesn't he? hmmmmm

I would acually say (don't disbelieve this tell you hear my reason) that the boy is 15-20, because since elves live longer (or are said to) then humans, I would assume that they age alot slower than humans... the eyes looked a bit off (the right one was looking pretty straight, and the left looking cross-eyed) and his right shoulder seemed... bumpy, though that may be from lack of food... and he had a very... Rock (the wrestler) look to his eyebrows... so we have a tenth century (or earlier) elf who imiatates the Rock.... I like it! it is very very nice work, well, no, scratch that, Nice is an understatement... argh! I can't think of any words that work! oh well! just know that it is very very.... high quality! 2 2 2 Hey! Youre right about the eye! And, true.. Good point about the age thing.. I dont do much on the elves thing.. but I do remember reading how they age more slowly. The shoulder.. My borther was very boney when he was a boy..Oh wait..hes still a bag of bones. I have no idea bout the Rock thing.. I cant stand to watch wrestling, and I dont like any of the wrestlers...I do, however like to raise my eyebrow, and like the expression in general. *grin* Thanks! Once more, quite a bit of thought2
