SciFi and Fantasy Art: Rough Elf

Well, this is my first picture in colour, as well as my first trial-and-error with my wacom tablet, this was an experiment, and well it became into this, as u can see, I still need some practice with the tablet. Some Serious practice =) so if u give me advice I'll be grateful.

7 Jan 2001	TrinityHawk	Loading... chuckling hehehe I am new to the Woods and got first comment AGAIN LOL....I like this pic alot I am looking into buying a tablet myself as I don't have a scanner and have to go to a friends to scan any pics I draw or I have to try and draw (and re-draw many times over) with the mouse. I like what you did with the eye...what program did you use?..If you would like some tutorial programs for PSP or Photoshop let me know I can send ya some. Great Job!
28 Jan 2001	Patricia Anne McCarty	Loading... the pen tablet is more like a paint brush than an acual pen, it is all about the pressure. learn that and get a feel for it, pluss it realy helps to work in photoshop with layers, mess with opions on the tools a bit set the presurepiont and opacitys on layers. that is the real key to painting with the computer in my opion, for what it's worth. This is a wonderful sketch, i woulf take it to the next level and finish it, It would make a wonderful painting! ps- sorry about my rotton spelling
