SciFi and Fantasy Art: Nocturnal Illussion

I don´t know what I was thinking when I drew this, I felt somehow inspired by the image of Arwen, and tried to do a halfgling-like girl. His looks transmit a mixture of emotions, the worries of the past, but at the same time, the illussion of a better future.

I love your shading technique, it's so smooth. She kind of reminds me of Britney Spears, I don't know why. That could be a compliment or an insult, depending on your views on her. It's not meant to be an insult. It's just what she looks like. I know. I'm not making any sense. This is a great picture. I like her hair especially, very cool, very antigravity. She looks kind of stressed though. Stressed and sad. Thanks for your nice comment. Although you lied! My pencil technique is NOT better than yours. Anyway, now for a shameless pitch for my own webiste. Please visit my Wyvern's Library and Lothlorien galleries. Thank you. By the way...Happy New Year.

I love how you did her hair it has a unqiue feeling to it i think, and the entire idea of the picture is marvelious, very nice work.

I really like how you put so much imagination to your work! It Gives them many meanings, thus making them more interesting and fun to watch! Fantastic work with the face and the moon, and great shading as usual!

'struggling with the devil of the stairs who wears the deceitful face of hope and of despair' ~ t.s. eliot. ya i quoted this on my page too, but it fits this pic for me at least. she feels like she's flowing right out of the picture theres a wonderful liquid loony motion to her...which i will not try to put into words.(grin)

I love this picture, but I disagree that it looks like Britney Spears. I reckon that it looks so much like Jessica Alba (off Dark Angel). The background just makes the whole picture though, the moon is very pretty and exquisite. Very well done.

It's a shame that I haven't seen your drawings before (as far is I can remember. I've got a bad memmory. It's in the family) because your pic's are great. I like the hair and the moon the most of this pic. Keep on drawing, like I do.
