SciFi and Fantasy Art Good Omens - Chapter 1 by Laura F. Crites

'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman is my all time favourite book in the whole entire world! This is the first chapter of it. If you can not quite read the small writing then whip out your trusty copy of Good Omens - because the speech is true to the novel. Every word that they say is exactly the same - no cutting or altering. I was a bit worried that this would count as fanart, but I have designed the characters appearances myself (true to their descriptions, of course) so surely it is ok for it to go in this gallery. Please let me know what you think, I'd really like to hear from other Good Omens fans!

Crites replies: "I drew this after reading the whole Sandman series which I borrowed from a friend so it probably does have a certain Sandmanesque feel to it! He really does look like Duma, doesn't he. I never noticed that before. Looks like those books inspired me more than I thought! Thank you for dropping by!"

16 Nov 2005	Atra Domina	Loading... That's very entertaining. I like the lettering shifts from Crowley to Aziraphale, and you did a good job of representing both of them. Pleas, please, make more of these! I love Good Omens, it's one of my favorite books ever! Laura F. Crites replies: "Its one of my favourite books too! When Uni finally gives me a break I'll try to get some more Good Omens stuff done. But for now you'll just have to make do with this and the few other G/O pics that are also in my gallery. 18 Mar 2006	Majik	Loading... I agree with the tour and previous comments that it would be great to see more of this! Some of the scenes would be more diffcult to work graphically (the mix-up in communication in the sisterhood with the babies, for example) but I would still love to see more. Laura F. Crites replies: "Thanks! And yes, it would be nice to do a bit more of the book in this way. It's just difficult to fit it in around all my other projects I want to do, and all the projects I get from Uni. Maybe one day though... And I draw Good Omens characters every now and then. There are a few in my gallery if you want to take a peek. ^_^ "
