SciFi and Fantasy Art: Albert the Silky Dragon

The last strange detail urge I had was to draw scales, this time it was fur. I'm not sure which was worse. Neither are really painful, just wearing on the mind after a while. But my sanity abandoned me years ago, so I'm sure there was no permanent damage. ~_^
When this urge to draw fur struck me, I'd just finished a random sketch in photoshop, and said, hey, why not, he can have fur. And so... Albert was born.
The name comes from a random coversation I had with Ernie dearest.

I just want to hug him, and keep him for a pet.

16 Dec 2006	Heidi Hecht	Loading... Oh, it blinks! I had to look twice to make sure I was really seeing what I thought I was seeing. The fur kind of makes him look cuddly, in a large and carnivorous sort of way-if that makes any kind of sense.
