| 4 Sep 2003 | Eponine | I came back to this page to see this picture again. I printed it out in b and w, and while it still looks great...alas, it looks much better in color.
This has inspired me to write a short story about the two. I looked forever online to find out exactally what the male creature is called (hasn't anyone ever thought of one before?? i had...) until i just decided to give up and make up my own name.
I don't know why you should care exactally, but i feel compelled to tell you what i named the creature. "Orinthsir." From the root Orinths meaning bird, and well, Sir, a male. Voila.
I really like your other work too, but this is my favorite. Wonderful job. | |

| 20 Sep 2004 | Anonymous | I truly admire you for posting such treasured art. I, for one thing, am possessive with who I share my own art with. My brother introduced Elfwood to me several years back, and I am not yet ready to show myself. I love to design illustrations with romantic themes, it creates such a thought-provoking story within the observer's eye! | |
| 5 Oct 2004 | Carmen | Wonderful pic, absolutly love it, but I must be picky, and please do not take this the wrong way. Wings will not fold over on the same direction. Simply put, either they both flip in, or they both flip out...its like he has two right wings. just my opnion, hope I didn't offend you. Great pic though, love the forbidden love. -Carmen Christi Smith Hayden replies: "Actually, it really doesn't matter... I sold this picture back at my first A-kon art show, three or four years ago. No big." | |
