My friend, Wraith, suggested a green and purple color scheme for this mermaid and it seemed appropriate, seeing how close it is to Mardi Gras and all. Prisma markers & pencils, white ink.

she seems so blissfully happy. Like she is unaware of anything around her and is just lost in the moment. Nothing else matters, as the whole world melts aways in the dance.

Such wild abandon! I love the emotion captured here-- or just barely contained, I should say. It seems like it should leap from the screen in a splash of saltwater and laughter. You can't help but smile when looking at it. Beautiful!
