| 30 Aug 1999 | Daniel Routhier | Yep, let me guess, your inspiration comes from playing Baldur's Gate a lot, right? | |
| 30 Aug 1999 | Andrea Stewart | Yeah, I do like the body, and the sketchy feel to it. One question...what is the foot in the upper left corner? | |
| 5 Sep 1999 | The Artist | Yeah, well... This is not the complete drawing but the foot was there so... | |
| 29 Sep 1999 | Vampfroggie | It's cool, scary even. Is it *Doppleganger* or *Doppelgänger* though?? "...a double, or Doppelgänger (from the German for "double goer"), the sight of which could foretell your own imminent demise. Sometimes described as the soul embodied, sometimes an astral projection or aura, the double most often presented itself as a warning." <<From Encyclopedia Mythica. Hmmm...Keep up the interesting work...this one creeped me out... | |
| 11 Nov 1999 | Night_gale | aaaah! So THAT'S what a doppelganger looks like! ) I've been wondering... Very nicely done tho. Love the sketchy feel, it adds personage to it. Lovely! ) | |
| 21 Feb 2001 | Joyce | Your art work is very interesting, however you are
misinformed as to "what" a doppleganger is; first the
derivitive of the word is, German. Second and most important, the doppleganger is our etheric double, similiar to the astral body with the exception being, the doppleganger is solid whereas the astral body is not. In essence it's our double. It is not a beast, it is a solid image of our own astral/etheric body. | |
| 23 Feb 2001 | Misfit | Actually, (s)he does have the write idea as to what a doppleganger is. (S)He's going for the D&D interpretation, which is a creature humanoid but has no gender, hair..distinguishable marks, it can mimic other beings and is often considered evil for it is out for its own good and a good candidate for an assassin. Very good drawing...though theres no real point for cloth right? hehe | |
