Passage from Jason’s current writing project:

The deep, loathsome voice continued speaking in the darkness. “And I will answer your other question, which you put to that sniveling, little farmer . . .” Suddenly a strange, red-flamed torch flared up, much like when a match is struck, save that this was as large as a man’s fist. The torch’s red light illuminated the same huge, ugly face from before. The face leaned forward with a cruel glare, and its dry, gray lips parted, cruelly forming his words with a sinister articulation: “There are such things as Trolls!”
