I recommend looking for books which explain how to draw animals. This is a very good drawing for being unsure of the subject matter, and these types of books prove invaluable in learning how to break down your subject matter into simple shapes in order to correctly render animals. Good luck.

I love the way you shaded in the wings. I think it would be made more beautiful without the backgroudn, that or you put more detail into the background.. personally I am no good was backgrounds ^^;

woooh no comments yet?? *first comment giggle* I like horses. I like this horse. Nice shading on the body, and i esp. like the head. Well done!

12 Kaegan N. Cusenbary replies: "I'm glad you like him! He took a long time to draw considering how small the original drawing is. Thanks for commenting."

The body on this is very well done,looks like a morgan.The feet need help,if you want to see pictures of horses in lots of different poses,go to a site called AgDirect,(use google),its a horse buying site but there are tons of great pictures.Or just use google's image search.The head is very nice.<('.'<)

1 Kaegan N. Cusenbary replies: "Thanks...I'll check that out. I'm not very familiar with different types of horses, I'm beginning to think that I should start some research though. About the feet, they do look kinda weird...well thanks for the suggestions, and thanks for your comment!"
