SciFi and Fantasy Art: Jewels of Dispair

This picture is one that I am quite proud of. It was a way to get rid of my own feelings-- I poured them into this picture and now you can see the result of that. I sketched it with pencil (1/2 hr) inked it (10 min) colored it with colored pencils (2 hrs) and played around with it on the computer in ArcSoft PhotoStudio 2.0 (2 hrs) adding a background and playing with different filters. One complaint I have with the picture, is Cynther's hair is purple not blue, but my scanner doesn't pick that up and I wasn't sure how to make it more purple without screwing up the other colors as well. *d'oh*
