Sethlans (left) and Koljada (right) -- fire & ice, yin and yang, male and female. Created from papier mache, plaster and marble paste. Painted in acrylics with mica pigments. Decorated with fabric, plastic and hand made wool-felt rastas from a friend in Finland.

12 Sep 2003	Marlena Cannon	Loading... Yess... new masks. ^_^ Because of your beautiful masks, I actually dug up my old mask mold and bought some new mask-making supplies. I can't hope to make anything as nice as yours, but it's great to feel inspired. ^_^

I am very eager to set my eyes upon more of your masks and perhaps add to my own collection...if it is available. Your artwork is so vocal and original.
