I was never good with this biography stuff but here goes. Ummm, I'm a 13 year old in the 8th grade of hell at a private school. I am the last follower of this trend towards Elfwood, but I have always liked to draw and such so I don't consider myself a poser. 3 of my friends, Jeffrey Kaplan(gallery 532), Yanik Jayaram(544) and Alex Borgstrom(538) have inspired me to put up my art on elfwood too. I am also inspired by my horrible art teacher who feels that you have to do every peice of art inspired by another artist even when she explains that that was one thing Georgia O Keefe hated. And when we are painting if she finds one picture on that artist and your backround is different, you have to change it and make it like that of the picture. She also thinks Jeffrey is the only one who can draw fantasy, so yes I do have some jealousy in me. Thats about it.

You people should stop giving this guy delusions of grandeur.
What may seem like being nice and supportive may actually be destructive. I mean ...I drew like this when i was 7

Critique is good and bad comments. Everyone has to take the good with the bad, I understand that. But saying someones art "sucks a**", is hardly the way to do it.
It shows ignorance, and I would be willing to bet that "Anonymous" is American.(but thats another story!1)
If you wish to critise someones art you say what is wrong with it, not just that it is bad.
Doing that can put someone off drawing for life.

I would challenge "Anonymous" to contact me (e-mail) so we could discuss our different methods of critique!

Personally, I think your art is pretty good. Keep drawing, and try drawing people in different poses too.
Also, I find it great fun to draw animals! Try that too!

yesh! ur artwork is pretty good, like some1 said before, try doing some different poses and try adding some shadows so it makes it more relistic. Also, try drawing relistic things out of magazines like people or some kind of
object. Try something new and always practice drawing!

Hey! I go to a private school and ya know what... people judge us too harshly. I bet you know that, though. But no hard feelings. You're art is unique in a fabulous way. I'm thirteen (actually on the thirtieth!) and my art still has no 'art'ality.

You have a great imagination, and good skill for a 13 year old. Never give up drawing because of what people say or because of bad critique. I think with practise and careful observation you could be even better than what you already are. Branch out and learn new techniques and styles. You'll find it will help you in other areas of drawing.
