SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ni'am and Veith

So, finally another pictrure to make my gallery here a little more full ^^; Some of you might remember Ni'am (the Naga in the back). I already have a piccu of him in my gallery ^,^ I changed his tail design a bit. His hair is still the same, but it's wet in this picture, that's why it's looking a bit weird.

The other guy (the blue one) is named Veith and belongs to a very good rl friend of me. You can find her art (including a new Veith picture) here: http://serena-jevel.deviantart.com/
Veith is her "god of water" (noone would have guessed with the blue skin and all XD ) When he makes a lil visit on earth he meets Ni'am. This picture is their first meeting ^,^ What follows is still a secret ;) But if you know me... you might be able to guess it.

I'm sorry for the bad background... the water and the stones look horrible *whines*

Veith is © by Serena Jevel
Ni'am is © by me

Ps. They're both guys. I just HAD to say this here, because some replies I get for those comments always make me laugh XD

The picture is awesome, and maybe you should think about drawing some girl naga (they look to feminine to be men, im sry 2)? I love the hair!

They're great, same for the background; it isn't as bad as you think, mrs Reichelt 2

I love you N'iam character and applaud your attempts at male anatomy. Evan's advice was pretty right on when referring to male anatomy, you just have to picture a nice triangle that leads into narrow hips and thighs. No matter how thin the subject is, the shoulders are broader than the hips and the chest is flat and angular. I so love your backgrounds, I'll never achieve that sort of detail in mine!

I like the Ni'am guy a lot (I like snakes a lot, and this guys pattern is just... wow)! Though he looks a little like a girl (I agree with Evan Rees)... How do you make those little white highlights on his scales? I mean, do you use gel pens or something? I like to know ^^.

You should make Ni’am a girl, because you seem to be better @ drawing them
Then you might lessen some of the "mean" critique
and you can delete non-constructive comments if you dont like them
