| 7 Jan 2001 | Jessica 'Celestia' Nowak | very creative and inspiring idea. the colors are lovely and I really like the idea of a picture within a picture. All of your images are lovely, but this is my favorite. keep up the great work.
Thankyou looks like I will have to get into some more raytracing. Have you had a look at my private gallery. Only the foyer is viewable.
| 13 Mar 2001 | Helen Rich | Interesting idea - the phoenix's eye is wonderfully drawn, and I like the story behind this, it's so easy to become absorbed by a picture.. This is going in my 'Phoenix Fire' tour as soon as I update.
Awwww thanks! I cant wait to see all the other Pheonixes out there
| 2 Apr 2001 | Aaron Weaver | Cool picture and story. What software did you use?
The origional image was sketched on paper and scaned. It was then coloured in using the Gimp (http://www.gimp.org) which is an open source photo editing program. The 3D was done in Truespace 2 which I got on a cover Magazine This is part of my other gallery if you like this go visit it
| 29 May 2001 | Nichole | Wow... The Pheonix seemed to shift around in the picture if you look at nothing but it's breathtaking eye... It seemed as if it was about to dart off quickly, dissapearing and leaving the picture rather naked, surrounded by just frames.
There is rumor that the picture is a portal between the worlds and you would not see the pheonix dissappear but infact the frame the picture and the gallery
| 31 Jan 2002 | Kaz | I always saw the Pheonix as an elegant, mystical bird but I'm afraid that I don't see it in your painting. Very well done though. I agree that the eye is the best part of the picture. Danni Aaron Coy replies: "Wow a real critic... point taken - maybe I shall endevour to do a more elegant pheonix in future.Meanwhile I have never seen a real live one so if any ones got a good photo....." | |
| 17 Feb 2002 | U.KNOW | This is a great pic! Somehow, the scenery reminds me of Harry Potter. I like the big eye. Cool colours! Danni Aaron Coy replies: "Thanks... My knowledge of Harry Potter is very limited (yes I live under a rock) but I am sure I should take that as a complement." | |
| 18 Sep 2003 | U SUCK | This is the most terrble drawing that i have ever seen! | |
| 30 Oct 2003 | Mad dog | your picture blows . Most discrasful thing to resemble a PHEONIX. Dont try art again. | |
| 16 Apr 2004 | Andrew Philip N. Moris | i love the painting IT is nice, you can see through the Phoenix eyes and will give different meaning to you, just try to ponder deeply. Although IT will be more impressing if you will paint the Phoenix Whole Body and Her wings are spread wide, and with a fire that echoes around her. | |
