SciFi and Fantasy Art: Tree sprite

this is a picture I drew for a friend of mine, I used a mechanical pencil and paperstomp to draw it, unfortunatly it didn't turn out quite as good on computer as I would have liked thanks to my really crappy scanner...

Ne, I can relate with bad scanners as well.. but I can tell that this is a very good pic! I love the shading and the way you drew the leaves. It's not done cheaply like stick figures. n.n

Oh its so pretty!! The cute little faerie is great and the leaves are wonderful!!

This has an interesting visual flow. There is a deliberate zig zag pattern that plays with out eyes. That's well done. As for your scanner? Post scanning software should clean that right up. Just adjust your levels.

Really nice..but..what is a paper stomp? I never heard of it but..of course..I'm not awfully artsy-fartsy either *grins sheepishly*

Very good, but boy does she look mad. She may have just gotten in a tiff with a beaver over her tree.

She's so sweet! I love the way she looks like she's sulking in her tree, it's an adorable piece and she's absolutly wonderful, like a pouting girlfriend! 2

Good work on the leaves, that many leaves must have been a pain to draw. The sprite looks good, but her body language is so closed. That's not an issue, just an observation. Good shading.

Reminds me of Tinker Bell when she leaves Peter Pan and before she gets caught by Capt. Hook.
