SciFi and Fantasy Art Noble Dragonewt by DARRAN L. SIMS

This is a picture of a Noble Dragonewt or Third stage Dragonewt. Based partly on discriptions from Greg Stafford's Glorantha in Hero Wars, it is how I imagine one of these creatures to look like. Armed with a bone bow and has a sheathed three-pronged dragonbone sword-catcher called a Gami. It has Several throwing flints called Samarin on its belt. More of a leader than a fighter it is still quite fierce. This creature will evolve into the fourth stage soon then much later into a Dragon. Drawn on paper with pencil.

10 Feb 2003	Matt	Loading... This is very nice! In my opinion noble Dragonewt could be a bit more massive, size-wise. But all the decorations, thorns and stuff are great. Best picture of a Noble Dragonewt I've seen!
