Marque
This one started because i wanted to design a Marque. In Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel trilogy, the courtesans have tatoos on their backs that fills in as they complete their training. The Marque on my character is a tree with leaves falling down her arms and legs. It doesn't totally fit with the book because a persons marque is only on their back. But on well. I like the idea. The background and color was done in Photoshop Elements 2.0 and it's one of my first completed color jobs. It is a stained glass window with a a sacred language written around the sides. (I never figured out what it says) (Marques and idea is copyrighted to Jacqueline Carey. I suggest you read the books if you enjoy reading: 'Kushiel's Dart' 'Kushiel's Chosen' 'Kushiel's Avatar')
