It's interesting to hear other people's take on this picture. Sometimes it's very different than my own. To me it's kind of like a girl hugging her dog, only underwater and with fins.

wow, i've never seen a mermaid done this way (if you can call her a mermaid). very lovely painting. it wasn't until now that i realized the utter lack of underwater grass here in the 'Wood. 12 It's awesome!

I sense more to the relationship than just a girl and her dog. She is so similar to a dolphin, I think it's possible that they might have more of a thing going on. And besides, dolphins are supposedly very passionate in the love making department... I don't know... I
t's a very beautiful piece! I really like it!
