SciFi and Fantasy Art: Into the Light

This one was inspired both by a dream and by my love of Victorian-era paintings with fluttery fabric. I wanted to show the girl moving from shadow into light, though there's no particular story to it.

The hair is beautiful, the way it looks all flowy and such, but her pose seems a little forced, or stiff... yeah, stiff is the word I was looking for. Now obviously I'm no great artist like you, but i think this picture would be even more beautiful with a bit more fluidity. Wonderful backround, by the way, you seem to have that down perfectly... 2

:-) Daniel A. Cortopassi replies: "Thanks. You might be right about the pose. That's one of the reasons I've gotten away from using Poser."
