SciFi and Fantasy Art: Necromancing Battle Mage

This is a necromancer that is casting a Black-lightning spell. She is one of my better attempts at a Dramatic Looking Character. TThis is the new and improved version. I tried to fix her feet and the shading.

a lot more shadows are needed throughout the figure(cloths, shoes etc) and again try and shoe an eye through the hair, this would make the character look evil, morbid and all things dark

I like the picture but I would not hide the entire face as you did. try to show and eye or part of a mouth. then it would look more dramatic.

Cool shading roung the spell orbs, but I think hands need more detail.

She needs no more of the face to be shown. But the hands feet and breast are too smal, otherwise it is fine

Cool!!!!!! What I think would be cool (just a suggestion, don't kill me!) is if you could see her eyes peering at you through her wisps of hair.

Yea, part of an eye showing through the hair would make it look more dramatic, cuz right now it looks like she has no face at all, hehe.

I'm sure you're getting sick of this by now, but an eye through the hair would be great. Maybe even have it glowing malevolently or something ^^. All in all great. I like the fact that those orbs of shadow hovering over her hands seem to absorb the light around them.

Hmmmm.... Do you want to hear what I think or do you want me to tell you what you want to hear? Some people like abstract art, some like highly defined detail, your necromancing battle mage is none of these. Necromancers by their nature are purely to do with death, darkness of course is a little part of the necromancer way, necrophilia is about sick freaks who get off on the dead, but a necromancing battle mage that looks like a little girl that has watched "The Craft" to many times with orbs at her hands. I would have to say you need to show images of death and not put lots of white in your picture, it's to bright and that sort of thing has alot to do with hope, peace, love and ....heaven. Show us DEATH and still show the darkness, I hope that helps you.
