SciFi and Fantasy Art: Anticipation

I finally, finally, went out and bought myself some pastels. I must say, I absolutely LOVE working with pastels. I was really happy with how this turned out. The original of this is going to a friend of mine as a christmas present. He's one of those people who sees something deeper, something only he sees sometimes, in every piece of work I do and it just seemed right that he should have something.
