SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lady Lea IronheartLea has to be one of my favorite roleplaying persona's up to date. She was a kitsune (were-fox) with fae blood (Sidhe)(thus the light eyes and blue/violet hued hair. Lea was a tragic little character who was the living incarnation of a curse placed on her family many generations ago. Lea started out the game as a Mord Sith, then switched to a Mother Confessor as was more suiting her kind personality. She was then condemned to a life of lonliness (or so she thought) because a Confessor cannot make flesh to flesh contact with another living creature or that unfortunate soul will become something of a slave who will be completely loyal to her. However, her curse allowed her to touch and also fall in love with Sven Ironheart a Garou (werewolf) with fae blood (Troll) - heir to the Kislevian throne. The two of them married but due to the curse, were unable to have any children. There is SO much more to the story, to the curse, etc. but I honestly do not have the room to post it here. So, here is a quick picture of Lea Ironheart in her Mother Confessor armor. The outfit in thie picture is based off an outfit design by the very talented artist Kami Hines' picture 'Antonican Gothic' and permission was granted to place this on my site. |

| 9 Apr 2003 | Selinna E. Hackett | Don't delete my comment because you know its true. I'm reporting you. Amy Ann Demint replies: "Listen Selinna, I deleted your comment because the link to whatever Dragonlance sight that you attempted to post, did not work (it came up sight not found) - quite frankly, I thought you were leaving some obtrusive comment just for the fun of it. I can tell you that I have NOT referenced this artwork from any Dragonlance material. I don't want to get into a heated discussion here, so listen - yes, I sometimes use references, in this case the outfit study was done on elfwood artist Kami Hines' picture 'Antonican Gothic' and my picture is posted here per her permission. Anyway, the pose is different, as is the character, the only similarity is the outfit. " | |
| 20 Apr 2003 | Amy Renée Hanna | Question... A Mother Confessor can touch people as long as she doesn't unleash hold on her power, can't she?
Also, although I like the picture in and of itself (the proportions, shading, and colors are nice) I think the outfit doesn't really fit the personality of a mother confessor... it seems a bit, I dunno... flamboyant?
| 7 Aug 2003 | Raven Landrunner | This is probably one of the sexiest pictures i have seen in a long time,it strikes of a highly intelligent and passionate being, thank you for sharing your talent,i've bookmarked your page and will keep returning. | |
| 20 Nov 2003 | Anonymous | Yeah, just read the history again. I like the way you combine a lot of different systems, and not just WoD ones, either!

| 19 Jan 2004 | Tzjanii | how could she turn _into_ a confesser? that makes no sense...Confessers are born with their power, and her mother would have to be a confesser. a confesser always gives birth to a confesser. also, only the mother confesser wears white, all of the regular confessers wear black. the confesser doesnt wear armour anyways, just the dress. Amy Ann Demint replies: "It's narrowmindedness such as this that's caused me to only allow other elfwood commenters to comment on my art from now on. This roleplay was only LOOSELY based on Terry's books and for the record, Lea IS a mother confessor. Goodness I hate arguing with people - have some imagination. I despise rule quoters. Open your mind!" | |
| 13 Aug 2005 | Linda M. Billson | And, I'd like to point out to the commenter above, that she was role-playing. She changed from Mord-Sith into the Mother Confessor in the Role Play. Goof.
Great picture, well drawn!
| 30 Nov 2005 | Anonymous | Beautifull picture. I really like the outfit she has. Especially the top part and the cape.
Just for fun: the Kislevian prins is he by any chance related to Katarin and Boris?
