SciFi and Fantasy Art: Regulator

*A soft hand brushed his shoulder, breaking the bounty hunter from his thoughts,* 'Senza..' *He whispered, sensing the woman's presence behind him..his single spoken word coming off more as a demand then a statement.*
*The other bounty hunter, Senza, his partner for the last few months, remained silent for a moment, leaving her hand to rest upon the worn leather of his long black trenchcoat. Long, sunlit golden blonde tendrils of her hair danced softly past her waist as she gazed over his shoulder and out across the sparkling river..* 'Why is it you never speak of you past?' *She whispers softly, her words floating upon the evening breeze to caress his ear.* 'Tell me..is your past the reason why you never let yourself get close to anyone..is that the reason you've placed so many barriers around your heart..and around your soul...' *She let her words trail off as he turned slowly to face her, a wry smile forming upon his lips..*
'Don’t dig too deeply Senza..you may not like what you find..' *He murmered, then turned to walk away..leaving Senza to stare wordlessly after his retreating form.*

Is it just me, or is it more difficult to write character descriptions for those you care most about? This is Felix Cassady aka: 'Regulator', roleplaying persona of my fiance' Edward Meyer.
