SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hana can Dance

one of my favorite characters from my FLICKERING HALO series. this is Hanasavi in her human form, poised in a very difficult East-Indian dance. I wouldn't try holding a pose like that for more than 5 seconds kids, it requires incredible abdominal/leg dexterity and balance despite how easy it may seem (believe me... I tried... :( ) I dressed her up in fancy clothes because I wanted some pattern practice- I'd say it's a rather modern garb with very traditional influences.

I like that she is very pale but still has indian features, she must be brahman!...or well...a devi grins..yes, I've read the other pics of her so I know which. Her pose is stunning, and I understand the difficulty, a lot of Orrisi positions are difficult because of the precision, you have to be -just- so for it to be right, and you can be close and it's easy and that little tweak makes it incredibly difficult! She's perfect, and the cloths show a lot of respect and attention to the culture which they came from but some really cool innovations!

Your art completely BLOWS mine out of the air..I mean,,you make mine look like a 7 year old did it...sob this is completely amazing..I am in awe. I love her clothes, and the fact that she has a lunar elly. that rules man. I love it. wow
