SciFi and Fantasy Art: Support Dragons

Aug 26, 2007. Done with black ink and acrylic paints on cardstock. The full scroll blank, shown in the inset, is 8.5x11 inches.

These two snub-nosed, stubby-tailed dragons help support the elaborate arches of a Palace of the Nautilus, in the fair Atlantia, a medieval kingdom which exists in a reality which intersects our own modern world. The Silver Nautilus is an award given to artists and artisans of the kingdom to recognize their works.
