| 1 Dec 2000 | The artist | actually it's suppose to be nature elements... stags and ivy and whatnot. god forbid if i should do more dragons that absolutely necessary... hey... that's flamatory enough to get a amusing response. | |
| 1 Dec 2000 | Archangel | I like the armor. It seems to have and dragonish design. The texture of the cloak is very interesting. You seem to have good composition in all of your work. | |
| 13 Jan 2001 | Xeruxka the Sage | The man could be wounderful rendered in Bryce or art..the cloak could..hmm, it would be VERY nice in three dimensional | |
| 14 Jan 2001 | The artist | no. I strongly disagree. The whole point of this piece is to use three to four colour fields to define shapes and movement solely by those colour fields' interaction with one another. This is not something which is intented to be polished and refined to the point of looking computer-y (ie the type of crap that Bryce and Poser churns out at the click of the "Art" button). Although I love the computer as a tool, it is not a Style and it is not what all other mediums should aspire to be. Thank you for yer comment. | |
| 3 Feb 2001 | The artist | he's as human as they come... a paladin even (if in fact this was ever a portrait). i agree that is some places better contrast could be used but i DID use a fairly saturated purple and green... i didn't want it looking too obnoxious... aw well. | |
| 3 Feb 2001 | Jeremy Campbell | Nice coloring technique! I really like the cloak and the hair. I get the feeling it's supposed to be a dark picture, being drow and all, but there isn't much contrast in the picture. Might give it more punch 8o) | |
| 18 Feb 2001 | Jason | This pic blew me away. Just look at it! The green armor like material makes this piece so brilliantly thought out. The purple cape was a great addition. I noticed it right away. The hair. The way it is flappin in the wind. And how his face is covered. This is (in my opinion ) flawless. The markings on the armorlike material adds to the sheer genius of this piece. | |
| 19 Feb 2001 | The artist | nothing is flawless... but thanks for the sentiment all the same... | |
| 22 Feb 2001 | Elena Vanin | Oh, this reminds me of a character I met in an old D&D campaign, his name was Kareol and he was a white elf (my master used to re-invent every race as we liked it, so don't try to make it match with something existing). Well, he hadn't his hair white until they had slained all his family. A dark but deep and wise person I can tell you, he has been my guide in difficult situations more than once... (oh, memories...) | |
