SciFi and Fantasy Art: Armored Amethyst Angel

Today's experiment with computer-rendered armor (and shiny things in general) is a new portrait of my web-avatar, which I've incorporated into my main website, www.amethyst-angel.com

Really nice. You are good at the technique. The metal armor looks amazing (except for the little detail that it looks a little blurred around the breasts).

Finally someone who knows how to draw warrior chicks in something besides bikinis 10 I really like the picture, but I'm going to have to keep this short because I'll say something stupid if I keep talking (I should have gone to sleep about 5 hours ago...) neat style keep it up. Good luck, good work and God bless.

She's beautiful! Just what you'd want an angel to look like. Nice work on her wings.

WOW!!!! Awsome! Really! How do you draw metall?I draw using the smudge tool in Photoshop and a WACOM tablet. (I used a photobook filled with pictures of weapons and armor for reference.) Check out polykarbon.com 's online coloring tutorials and Antarctic Press' "Coloring for Comics" for good photoshop CG-ing advice.

The smudge tool is an absolute handy tool, I soley agree.

very nice, but I armor is usually not tailored to meet the feminine form. It's very uncomfortable to fight hanging out like that; most female warriors bind their chests flat. Most armor, nomatter who wears it, is flat-chested. Otherwise, I love the colors and effects! I'm envious of anybody with a paint program. I'm stuck with MS Paint and good ol' pencil and paper. Also, I can't draw people anywhere near as well as you can; I tend to just draw things like tomatoes and flashlights! 2
