SciFi and Fantasy Art: Bear

As the warrior rounded the bend, suddenly before him stood the great beast! Glowering down at him, eyes filled with rage and hatred, the huge bear roared and the earth seemed to tremble in fear of the deafening sound and all the warrior could think was 'I should have brought bigger swords!' Ball point pen drawing (a Pilot to be exact) with a definite nod to Mr. Frazetta.

1 Dec 2001	Shaynus	Loading... Frazetta? Wow, I though I was alone in remembering classic cover artists! This pic is definetely worthy of comment. I don't know what comment, but it's definetely worthy of a good one.
6 Dec 2001	Socketgoat	Loading... I like the picture. It is very well drawn. I have two comments, however. First, the eye brows seem to be drawn up instead of down, giving the bear a sad or worried expression rather than one of fury or malevolence. Also, the hind legs seem a bit too small to support such a gargantuan beast. As I said, however, very well drawn.
7 Mar 2002	neque	Loading... hmm, i know ive seen that lad before... ah, ofcourse! There is a Swedish rpg that is called Dragons and Demons. It has an expansion book about dragons, and on the front cover there is a man looking just like this fella. The helmet, Clothing, Pose, hell you even ripped the muscles. the only thing that is different is his weapons. BOOO!!! Havent seen the beer anywhere else tho, its nicely done.

22 Jun 2005	Onida	Loading... Poor bear, stupid warrior, rooming around killing bears. And yes, I like bears ^^. Anyways, good job on the bear, he just doesn't look angry. Nothing that isn't said before. Keep up the good work.
