| 17 Jun 2003 | Laura Monica Bennett (Polo) | I really like all of your art, but this is by far my favourite. Brilliant! So mood-setting. Deirdra EdenCoppel replies: " Thank you I think this is one of my favorites as well. I do think that all fantasy artist are rebels in their own way." | |
| 4 Jul 2003 | Anonymous Bob | I was going to make a comment, but I've noticed that they seem to be disappearing from your little portion of the site. YOUR prerogative, I guess, but it does seem silly to post your work on the 'net and then filter out the people that don't post what you like. If that is what you're going to do, why don't you just start a club and pass your drawings around to those that will lie to you whether it's good or not and tell you your work is fabulous? Personally, I like coming here sometimes for that express purpose. To read some of the outrageously gratutitous fawning comments, with the references to their own works where they in turn can go to lie about the quality *coughcough* of the "art". Have fun. Oh yeah, I love your work, it's fabulous. Deirdra EdenCoppel replies: "You are right. I always follow the Elfwood rules.I will take out any name calling, swearing or obtrusive comments. I know that I can not make everyone happy and I am not going to try. Art is one of those elements that I think everyone should at least try to understand and there is really no way to grade or score art. I meet this lady, and when I first meet her I thought she was homely. As I got to know her turned out to be one of the most beautiful people I know. Art is a lot like that you can see beauty in anything is you wish. I do understand I can not make everyone happy and I will only make myself miserable trying. I do not want you to think that I am not letting people have their own opinions by erasing name calling of myself or other posters." | |
| 21 Jul 2003 | A non mouse | I love the simpleness of this picture. It shows the emotion, and there is no hidden thing where you have to stare at the picture to see if you can make sense of what the meaning is. Deirdra EdenCoppel replies: "*LOL* Sometimes it is nice just to enjoy something for what it is." | |
