| 14 Jun 2004 | #1 Anonymous | I love the drawing, their is just one thing about it, it's back legs look too "chunky". Tim H. Nguyen replies: "Yea. I'm not sure if you're getting this message but for other's reading this, I'd say that it's been kind of a habit. I was more self-taught into drawing, so my influences effected my work. The 'chunky'-ness of the back legs are probably influenced on me by some cartoon or something, heheh. Thanx for the comment and critique (^-^)!" | |
| 25 Aug 2004 | C.s. | The drawing is good but...the tail is supposed to be a lion tail. But good job anyway. Tim H. Nguyen replies: "Thanx for pointing that out. I know the different types of and ways to draw griffins depending on how one thinks they look like. I would have thought that too, but I decided to draw it in the vision of T.H. White, in his book, "Once and Future King," (a book with King Arthur). Of course this was extra credit based on that book." | |

| 4 Aug 2005 | Ruth A Moore | This is beautiful! He looks very powerful and full of pride Tim H. Nguyen replies: "Well, with the body of a powerful lion and the head (and talons) of a prideful eagle, it's no wonder, heheh. Thanx for the comment (^-^)!" | |
| 14 Aug 2005 | H. Tran aka 'Alyahn Darkelf' | Very powerful looking creature! ^__^ Tim H. Nguyen replies: "Yea, sure is. Thanx for the comment (^-^)!" | |
| 15 Aug 2005 | Ajder Andrei | A griffin with a snake tail??? I never heard or saw souch a creature... I always thought griffins had lion tails... oh well... my critick here would be that the head seems a bit smll in relation to the rest of hisbody... and the wings could use some more work... I personally think they should be bigger... and there should be more muscles to were they conect to the creature's back... Well, hope you didn't mind my critick... oh, and a background for this could do wonders... Tim H. Nguyen replies: "No, I don't mind critiques. It's always good to know what other's think, so it can help for later works. Yea, it looks like I have to improve a lil' more on anatomy of creatures. About the snake tail, I drew that because it was as described in the "Once and Future King" book. I agree, I gotta draw more backgrounds, heheh. Thanx for the critique (^-^)!" | |
