SciFi and Fantasy Art: Cornered

This picture shows about fow far my 3d dragon model is as of July '98. In this scene the model is fixed, because I haven't yet been able to get decent speed or looks from my poseable, boned model. I'm still not happy with the look of the torso & joints, but thats the price of a seamless model. I think it looks much better at very high resolutions.

22 Oct 1999	Paul Phillip Wesley Scofield	Loading... I don't know jack about 3D rendering and this is really cool. I think the torso looks fine but the hips and the shoulders look too wide. If there was a way to narrow them up I think it would really add a realistic element to it. Whenever I imagine a dragon or other mythilogical beasty I try and use real animals as a reference. I haven't seen any animals with such broad hips and shoulders before. Its better than I can do though! Hehehe. These are just my opinions though so. . . take them as you will.
