| 11 May 2002 | ChaoSeven <Chaos7332@hot...com> | What can I say, other than I love it...but that should be no surprise *grins* Rather than try to think of something to say about each piece of this Ryoken-esq return, I think for now that I shall try and represent them all here; I've always admired your drawing style, in that it seems to flow freely and without constraint, which mark all good artists. In seeing your earlier work mature so rapidly into your current creations, I've remained impressed since their first unveiling. The anatomy, composition...the range in style from chibi Ravenesses to anthro...it's all rather inspiring...renewing in spirit for some... Perhaps I'll match something of equal artisty yet...*smiles and goes back to sketching* | |
| 4 Oct 2002 | Janice 'Mistral' Kelly | Whoo..Chaos7 said it all. Although I wasn't familiar with your art until recently, I can see some major evolution in your works. I love the technique of black-shading you used with this one..the background really brings him out, too ^_^ | |
| 31 Dec 2003 | Tim, an inspired amateur | Chaos7 said it very well... but I keep speaking up, because I am lucky enough to see your beauty for the first time today, it is an adventure worthy of memory. I would like, in the future, when I have the proper supplies/equipment, to offer some background techniques, because I had drawn the things that make up the backgrounds most of my time drawing, when somebody led me along a course that I was able to use to pursue my love of dragons and thus drawing them myself,I had the background down to a T Now I need to work on the dragons, but I think there is a lot that I could offer in the way of doing some amazing backgrounds including stone monoliths, or mountains, or numerous forms of landscapes that I would take more time than I should to describe, but with your ability to introduce so many wonderful creatures, than your imagination would lead us to new plant species and natural formations that would be uniquely you, just as the creatures that are constantly showing up as I slowly page through this amazing gallery. If I could offer that, than I would give it freely and happily, even though, I think that when you decide to put your mind to backgrounds, you will shock and amaze us without any help at all, as it seems you have already done with the wildlife. But, I might be wrong, and if so, I would love to help. I am convinced that I will have to find a way to have more computer access, because I will miss this sight as soon as I have to leave for work. and than, I am going to my own place, which sadly lacks a computer, and I do not know when I will be back, but I will, if for nothing more than to see more. I have not seen the first 10-15 pictures, but I will have to wait until another time, I am sorry about the way I jabber on and on, but this site has been a pleasure, and I just want to tell you (and keep telling you it seems)how much it pleases me, and the words fail to be enough. If I do not see you again for awhile, or your art for that matter, than it will be regrettable, for I shall surely miss it. But I have to go now, Thank you, one last time, I hope to return soon. | 20 May 2006 | Aubry 'Aardvark' The Odd | Wonderful. All of your artwork, it leaves me speachless as I stare at it for ten minutes each. Which is why it's taking me so long to look through your gallery. I haven't commented on any others because they are all wonderful. The anatomy is perfected, it's smooth, and it flows. I wish I had your skills. | |
