SciFi and Fantasy Art: Self Portrait

This was done a few days ago when I was feeling a bit low (hence the prominant frown) I don't know what I ment by drawing this the way I did, it was one of those 'just letting them 'ol creative juices flow'. This is what was birthed....

23 Oct 1999	forest walker	Loading... thats a very interesting self portrait. i did an almost identical self portrait years ago with a dragon draped around my neck, but most of me and the dragon was draped in darkness and i had a look of fear in stead of ambivalence. also my dragon seemed to be whispering something into my ear, but other than that, they are very similar. great minds think alike, huh? as for your artistic talent, you've nothing to worry about.

24 Apr 2001	Anon.	Loading... Did anyone here ever read Anne McCaffrey's (sp) Dragonsong and/or Dragonsinger? This looks like Menolly and her firelizard Beauty to me. Very cool, very well done. I love the wings especially. But then, I just plain like wings.
8 Dec 2001	Anon.	Loading... That dragon around your neck gave me the idea to draw some realistic things (like my dogs) and put a dragon or somthing with it. Thanks and you draw really good. I like you x-mas pups. ^_^
