| 23 Aug 2001 | Marie. E. Bird | Ohh Dawn this is so haunting, a good moment but with sadness?! He looks so forlorn! Beautiful and love the colours used in this, very atmospheric! ^_^ | |
| 23 Aug 2001 | Yelitza María Vélez | I like tge colors a lot, especially all the blue tones. Matbe some sort of halo around the moon would make it seem brighter, or more "moon-like", do you know what I mean? | |
| 23 Aug 2001 | Stavros Tsiakalos | OOooh Strap-On has already started growing tiny little wings!!!! Oh he must be so happy. Or is it part of the dream? Have you though about writting a story about him? Any chance of you writting a short story? (or giving someone the right to do so?) I'll do the woodgraining if he gets lost in the woods | |
| 23 Aug 2001 | Paulaf | lol... Dwan, I've had the rottenest of rottony days. Whenever I feel like this <often>, and then drop in to view your updates, I'm instantly cheered up. I love that. Strap-on is just so adorable. I think you've improved immensly with your painting. The bluetones you've used are beautiful and glowing, and feel just right for a magical moonlit night of tea-cup pursuits. (getting the moonlit colours right is my main concern for completing my Moonlit Mysticism project piece!) Lovely work, I can't wait for your next update! | |
| 24 Aug 2001 | Marie. E. Bird | Oh man did I write Dawn this morn...geeze shoot me... Sorry about that DWAN!!! Pic still looks so haunting in the daylight, or at night! ^_^ | |
| 3 Jan 2002 | Megan Elaine Gerberding | Dig it. Oh yes... Dig it. | |
| 3 May 2002 | Andy Willis | Wonderful!
You are definitely one of the two-in-eight.
It's like Paul Klee and Picasso all in one, but it's weird enough to be by Dwan. The teacup business does it for me. This painting reminds me of The Last Cuppa, by Leonardo Da Vinci, but I don't know why. But seriously, it has a powerful impact and lovely, subtle tones.
Love, Andy. | |
