Look, I know that some people don't think that your art isn't that great. But there is always room for improvement and I think that you are doing a wonderful job, your art is beautiful in its own way. If this Anonymous person is so high and mighty that he/she can sit there and insult you without at least giving you an email so you can contact them nor anything constructive, then that is their own problem.

Anonymous: Look, whoever you are, it is not for me to sling insults at you for the pure fact that I do not feel you would understand them. If you don't like her art, fine, you don't like it. That does not mean you can compare her art to others and say that hers is bad because someone else is better. Beauty and creativity are in the eye of the beholder. Art is not to be compared, you aren't supposed to look at art and say "oh it sucks because "insert name here" draws/paints/inks/whatever better." Art is that, an art form, a creative expression from the artist into their medium of choice. Comparing artists is like comparing poetry, it doesn't work and simply shouldn't be done because something is lost in the translation. If she wants to post her art, let her, because it is her art, not yours or anyone elses. But as for your insults, keep them to yourself. Artists want constructive criticism, not some prick who sits there, hiding behind an anonymous tag. You are 26 years old, or so you claim, so why don't you get a life and grow up? Act your age, instead of the 10 years old that you come across as.

I rather agree with the twentysix-year-old version of Anonymous. The work is on par with the age. I doubt I drew better in middle school... there's more than enough time for improvement. The potential is there, and obviously the drive, so why not keep at it and see. The style might be similar to any other teen's, but I see more creativity than the average in several of the ideas.

I really like your style...you know, I would point out which i liked best, but i like all of them lots.... keep working though...everyone can use improvement especially those b****y people who were flaming you. Pay a visit to my gallery and see what tips you can give me. my advice for you is to keep practicing!!!!

First of, if you actually read anthonys books, you would know that Nada has Grey-brown tresse, not black hair, how awful for her hair. Second Chex's Sire and dam are Xap Hipppogrife, a truly handsome creture. Her dam is CHem. A centure with the magic talent of map prjection, also very liberal for her kind. You also need to read details in the alicentaurs wings. Centaurs of Zanth also bear no clothing what so ever. Please if you are going to create art of something that is already there please make sure it is acurate so at Xanth will not laugh at us.

To begin, this is a different Anonymous than the first two. But the 26 year old did have a point...your work is not amazing or particularly realistic...YET! He is right in telling you that you do need a lot of improvement, and believe me, its better to find it out now than when your older (and perhaps applying to art colleges.)
If you really want to become a great artist you need to practice, either by taking a class or by using Elfwood's tutorials. Draw something new every week.
And also, I would suggest not being so offended by constructive criticism...true, some people were being very very harsh, but if this is an industry that you want to be in than you have to get used to it, not everyone is going to be nice.
I know that if you work really hard you will improve a lot, I look forward to seeing more of your work.
