not you're typical nymph ... congratulations ... but still, it's a little difficult to distinguish her from a short elven maiden.
I love your style ... this is a fairly basic drawing, so I'm going to LIGHTLY comment on the lack of detail ... it's not a problem, because it could have more, but doesn't need it. | |
| 26 Apr 2002 | HHexo | Squiggley... Elven maidens have got pointy ears... typically.  And she doesn't. However, the definition of Nymph varies a lot between different cultures, so we can't say exactly what a "typical" nymph is. If you assume Greek nymphs are the "right ones", you can still have Sylphs (air nymphs), Naiads (water), Dryads (earth & nature), and Oriads (fire & mountains) (I'm not sure of the names spelling). And, they have different behaviours. I think Naiads should be quite shy, and surely they don't care to tempt mortals, but I'm not sure... However, let's not discuss too much on a futile subject... the picture is very good, and that's the important thing! | |
